Environmental Wellness

Environmental Wellness image

Much of our human experience is interpreted by the environment in which we live. The beauty of the ocean and mountains can invigorate, the un-kept parts of town can cause despair, and open space can inspire a sense of freedom. Naturally, our stewardship of the environment around us has a direct impact on our total well-being. Immediate ways you can care for your environment are by recycling, planting a tree or a garden, avoid littering, and minimizing air pollution by not smoking and riding a bike at times instead of in a car.

For more information relating to environmental wellness visit the Enviromental component of the Center for Disease Control website.
